Michael weeks
Chairman & Competition Secretary
Michael has competed in trials and autotests since the age of 16, and now also co-drives in rallies. He has been Clerk of the Course at autotests, trials and rallies and is now CoC on the Forest Rally Stage at the Festival of Speed.
Mark has been involved in motorsport, as a competitor and volunteer, for over 35 years, including organising the volunteer team for Rally Wales GB. Most weekends, you will find him officiating or marshalling at events.
Harry served as Vice President at his University Motor Racing Club where he raced Rotax Karts. He is now looking to bolster the club's social side whilst competing in his MX-5 in Autosolos and Sprints and marshalling at club events.
A freelance sports and motoring journalist since 1999, Ian loves bringing grass roots motorsport stories to the fore. Ian has been editor of ‘Windscreen’ since 2010 and is a longstanding rally co-driver.
After leaving University with a degree in Broadcast Journalism, Izzie worked in social media with Formula E before taking up a marketing role at a rally school. She co-drives anything from a Micra to an Audi Quattro!
Brian price
Equipment Officer
A stalwart of the club, Brian joined in 1967, competing in autotests, navigating on road rallies, marshalling and helping set-up events. As a side-line to his role as Equipment Officer, he is a whizz at setting up the Scalextric!
Paul joined SCC in the 1980s, and has been involved in motorsport for over 50 years, competing in road rallies, autotests and trials. He has marshalled extensively across the UK, providing the results service at many events.
Neil boxall
Vice Chairman, Radio Officer &
Merchandise Officer
Neil joined the club in the late 80s, servicing a Vauxhall Chevette and a Darrian on rallies for a friend. With over 25 years experience on the Rallye Sunseeker, he now oversees stage set-up at the Festival of Speed Forest Rally Stage.
Anthony has been co-driving since the age of 17 and has some top 10 and top 2WD results to his name. He has also marshalled at several landmark events, including Rally Ireland 2009, when it was the first round of the WRC.​
Marion joined the club in the mid-1970s and was previously Club Secretary in the 80s. Over the last 40 years Marion has spent a lot of time marshalling with her husband and there are not many events that she hasn’t been involved in!
andrew hebron
Membership Secretary & Web Manager
Andrew started co-driving in 2001 and won the ANCRO Clubman title in 2003. He has driven in over 50 rallies, was 2nd in the 205 Challenge series in 2010 and still co-drives on occasion - recently completing the 2023 RAC Rally.
Ness been involved in motorsport for over 40 years. Since hanging up her driving gloves, she has performed various organisational roles: marshalling, course closing car, timing crew, signing on, results and many more besides.
Rob has always been a fan of motorsports and started marshalling at track events before joining Southern Car Club to marshal at rallies, where he enjoys the close involvement with the cars and crews.
Formerly Social Secretary and President of his university Motorsport Club, Will now works for a racewear manufacturer. Having moved to Kent, he is eager to get involved in the local Motorsport scene and maybe a rally or two!
